Hi,

I recently made a PE disc to deal with a particularly hardy viral infection. The plan was to use the PE disc to kill the infection, which responded to all in-OS attempts to deal wioth it by crashing whatever I was using.

Unfortunately, I cannot get the hard disk toshow up in BartPE.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your time.

It sounds like you have a SATA drive, if that's the case you need to add SATA drivers to your build.

I have the same problem = my SATA drive not showing up on Bart PE. Someone else has used the same Bart PE CD and his SATA drive did show up. Is it possible that Bart PE might recognise some SATA controllers but not others?

thanks

Yes. It depends on what SATA drivers were added to the PEBuilder system by it's owner. It could also be due to a machine's BIOS settings for the SATA device.
