I used to use nu2menu but for some reason i do not have a taskbar and must have lost that file. Can you just use explorer as a shell since i have heard of many doing so. IF you can do you have to set it up in the !custom.ini or autostart. or maybe i just don't understand?

nu2menu has never had a task bar. The GeoShell plugin adds a task bar. I believe the XPE plugin adds support for Explorer.
