Wonder if anybody would be interested to take a look of the fixscsi plugin and do further development.
http://www.rtfm-ed.co.uk/?page_id=174 Ultimate-P2V (fix-vmscsi) is a free plug-in that allows you to clone a physical machine to virtual machine - and perform the neccessary “system reconfiguration” required to make it bootable. Without this tool or a commerical P2V tool the virtual machine would just give a “blue screen of death” Is it possible to build a plugin to extract drivers in the BartPE CD based on plug and play information, copy the drivers and necessary registries to the offline Windows installation? Since the current fixscsi plugin is built on a per controller manner, it would be nice to have a generic way to add mass storage drivers and refresh this plugin without much effort. Similar to the way that Bart created in Pebuilder for adding driver. With a plugin like this it would be easier for people to move Windows installation across boxes with different mass storage adapter. It also saves time to recreate sysprep images to load additional mass stroage adapter drivers when there is a new release. |
