I am having lots of problems with multi-boot cd’s only on specific new systems. On my older systems (and with virtual PC) I don’t have any problems booting, but on some of my newer systems, cdshell (v2.1.4) will fail every time. Cdshell freezes at the following line: “isolinux: starting up, DL=82.” This is probably due to some incompatibilities with the bios (which is upgraded to the latest version from Dell.) Does anyone have a workaround for this issue? Would it be possible to upgrade to the latest version of memdisk or isolinux in cdshell 2.1.4? It is hard to work with cdshell when it only works on half of our systems.

I'll update CD Shell to use isolinux 3 soon. I was waiting for it to stabilize, as HPA has made quite a few releases since the major version increment. Looks like he hasn't had to update lately though, so perhaps now is a good time.
