I customized my version of UBCD 3.3 Full. Basically I added a few apps of my own, including ERD 2005.

In order to get ERD to work I started creating the ISO by using CDIMAGE. ERD works fine when I create the ISO this way. However, INSERT no longer works, returns the error "Can't find INSERT filessystem. sorry. Dropping you to a (very limited) shell."

If I create the ISO once again, without modifying anything at all using mkisofs I get INSERT working again, however, ERD does not.

Any idea?

MKISOFS (CD is the directory with the files)
"..\cdrtools\mkisofs" -V UBCD -N -r -o %ubcdoutput% -b boot/loader.bin -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 .

CDIMAGE
cdimage -lUBCD -t08/23/2001,09:00:00 -b.\ISOFiles\boot\loader.bin -h -n -o -m .\ISOFiles %ubcdoutput%

Thank you!

he he, copart. i dont think your gonna get the answer soon on this board. the guys here dont seem to be a ... helpful, to put it mildly. just look at the bunch of unanswered post on this board.
anyway, back to your problem. why dont you include 'j1' option when creating with cdimage. it might work.
also, when using mkisofs, try using '-iso-level- 4' option, and if not, then try '-max-iso9660-filenames'
hope it helps.

Thanks zeko, your commandline switch for cdimage worked perfectly. However, still need to play with mkisofs and it's available switches since it still doesn't work. Though, only need one working and now it is, thank you again!

Well, luckily enough, now YOU joined......

Very, very friendly approach to the board, if I may say.

is it a remorse or a (false) pride that your showing off?
jaclaz, frankly, do you really think i lied or maybe exaggarated. if your not sure, just check any Troubleshooting & Problems subforum and you'll see what im talknig about. if you think it's ok to detract first time posters and its ok to have 4-5 unanswered post per page (multiply that by +- 100 pages and you'll see that its lot more than a bunch), then some1's got a problem here.

I was just making some "sarcasm" on your 15 posts spread over a two year and a half period, cricizing the "others" supposedly bad habit of not having replied to all posts.

It was, in other words, an invitation to you:
Please check those post that don't have any reply and share your knowledge with the posters, so that in a short period of time noone will be able to blame
