Translations needed...

The main panel "reatogo.exe" is now localized with language files.

Run "Get_Plugins.exe" to get the update.

These are the files, that are involved, including the auto-localisation:
C:\reatogo-25-6a\lang\English_Rea.lng
C:\reatogo-25-6a\Rea.ini
C:\reatogo-25-6a\OEM1\7-reatogo_defaults\ReaPanelLang.ini
C:\reatogo-25-6a\OEM1\7-reatogo_defaults\LOCALE.cmd (calls LANGUAGE.cmd)
C:\reatogo-25-6a\OEM1\7-reatogo_defaults\LANGUAGE.cmd
C:\reatogo-25-6a\REA.cmd
C:\reatogo-25-6a\Reatogo.exe (new starter pre-localizes and then starts Panel.exe)
C:\reatogo-25-6a\Panel.exe (renamed Reatogo.exe for the starter)

The new starter and LANGUAGE.cmd pre-localize the panel and ensures it starts in the right language the very first time already. Same will apply to PEbuilder and the helpfiles (both in preparation)

So far we got:.

Run Get_Plugins.exe to get the latest structure and the helpfiles.

I cannot test it because get_plugins.exe doesn't update files and i miss the new ones. I think some button need to be resized.

ok. I got lng and other files updated! It was a problem of mine.

@reatogo

for my translation buttons and some windows need to be resized. If you test the language file you'll notice that! let me know...

Reatogo.exe is now italian...

Unfortunately it is not possible to make the fields fit the translations. We just have to adapt the wording or use abreviations until it fits in the space that is there.

Screen Resolution -> Resolution -> Res. etc.
Output Directory -> Out -> Result etc.
Classic Style Folders ->Classic Folders -> Classsic etc.
Taskbar Bottom AutoHide -> Taskbar Bottom Auto -> Taskb. Auto etc.

The point is, you got every freedom to modify it as long as you feel the user will still have an idea what the button is for. No need for literal translations at all.

I have modified the italian lang-file along those lines. Its just a suggestion, change it to your liking please.

Run "Get_Plugins.exe to get it.

Do make your adjustments and I´ll upload your mods right away.

Why not use babelfish.altavista.com to convert your language in the one you need ?

yeah somtimes i wonder about babelfish
most of the time it just completely screws it up

googles a little better at translating but still not perfect

I translate this great tool on Russian language and make Russian_Rea.lng file. But, i can't enable translated file to check that all strings translated correctly.

Until reatogo returns you could try the following.

1. Name your file with the translation "Russian_Rea.lng" and put it in <REATOGO_ROOT>\lang folder.

2. Edit the <REATOGO_ROOT>\OEM1\7-reatogo_defaults\ReaPanelLang.ini so that the Russian= string is

3. Delete current Rea.ini in <REATOGO_ROOT>

4. Run reatogo.exe.

But real path to ReaPanelLang.ini is <REATOGO_ROOT>\OEM1\7-reatogo_defaults\ReaPanelLang.ini
(you probably forget to add OEM1 folder

)

I´m terribly sorry, but I got a few things mixed up that happend while I was out of country.

LLIypuk sent me a finished russian translation per E-mail while I was gone and when I saw your mail and your posts I got it all mixed up.

Thanks so much to both of you for all the work you put into this.

We now have two russian translations.

I have just uploaded the translation of LLIypuk, which I got first. Please run Get_Plugins.exe to get it. I have no way of checking the two translations as I don´t speak russian.

Could you two please check the two versions against each other and maybe we can make it a combined effort with credits for both of you in the final file.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks again for your contribution!!!
