The Forums database started giving errors from around 11:00 AM in 8-Sept-2003, so the database had to be restored from the most recent backup found.

The last available database backup is dated 2-Sept so all the posts and topics posted after that date were completely lost.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this problem, but I did the most I can do to save as much data as possible, sorry guys

P.S. : While trying to fix the error I upgraded to the Invision Power Board v1.2 software to see if it would help in our situation.
Well, it didn't; but we are now enjoying the new features of the IPB 1.2.

I see, this looks a lot better.

You could have repaired the database from the admin panel or failing that from phpMyAdmin, but that doesn't always work anyway.

Little thing I forgot: The last posted times aren't correct, you should go to the Admin CP -> Administration -> Recount Statistics -> Recount total topics and posts only (put the rest on no). That will also fix the amount of topics in the annoucements, 12 topics but it says 11.
