And we are recieving some odd errors.

We are using the OSDFP to load new systems(and to hopefully refresh systems) But at this point, our PE environment just keeps failing.

We have it loaded on RIS, RIS seems to boot PE O.K. but after the client sits at "initializing windows PE environment" for a few minutes, we recieve the error :

Windows could not load the installer for DISPLAY(or "MEDIA"). Contact your hardware vendor for support"

And occasionally, around the same time when PE is initializing, but ONLY on our DellGX280 client, we recieve error 8004001. Which has got us nowhere.

Lastly, We're running a post-install script, which mounts a drive, copies files locally to c:\(we have added this path to the driver search path, in hopes that it will install all PnP hardware, but this is a whole other battle)

Also, on clients that we have got up normally, installed the SMS 2003 advanced client on, and tried to perform the OSDFP refresh(that causes the system to reboot into windows PE) we have also had no success, we get the same errors.

Any ideas? reccomended reading? the OSD_FP_Guide from MS is lacking.
