I downloaded the WindowsFileExplorer Pugin from here :

http://users.pandora.be/Robvdb/WindowsFileExplorer.htmm for the BartPE Plugin. When I went to Add it and later close the Plugin Window in BartPE, It gave me an Error Message "file does not have .inf"

The Plugin is in .cab and I double- Click the .Rar file to view the contents, it does have an .inf file in it. help Plzzzzzzz.

Sounds like the same topic posted here: http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=18546

IF you saved the .cab file in a location outside of the PEBuilder folder then clicked on pebuilder.exe, then the Plugins button then the Add button and positioned the File Name window to the .cab you downloaded then clicked on Open what happened?

If those steps gave you an error the .cab file is corrupted and needs to be redownloaded.

This is the same informaton that paraglider told you in the other thread.

The plugin is bad. It contains the line:

iernonce.dll=2,,1

From the pebuilder help files:

,,1 means:

used for pluginCheck(). Make sure that the file exists in the same directory as where the .inf file is located, before enabling or continuing. This is obviously not the case hence the error reported by pebuilder.

The line should be:

iernonce.dll=2

so that it will be copied from the windows source directory.

Also the cab file is not formatted for easy automatic adding by pebuilder - the inf file is not in the root of the cab file - its in a subdirectory.

I stand corrected, maybe I shouldn't post before finishing the first cup of coffee. unsure.gif
Sorry Paraglider.

That was copied straight from the pebuilder help file. I see in xpe.inf many 2,,4 not many 2,,1.
