Well I'm attempting to make a backup windows xp home edition service pack 1 disk and I can't get it to burn when I run the bcd wxphome command from command prompt it goes through everything and towards the end it runs the -scanbus or w/e and it can't find a cd recording device. So either I need to know what I can do to get it to detect my cd-rw or I need to know what program I need to burn the iso and the exact settings and files I need to burn to get the disk to work. All help is appreciated.

P.S. My cd-rw is a Samsung CD-R/RW SW-248F according to device manager if it helps.

So I should burn the iso to a disk, should I also burn the .SP1 file apart from the iso and is there any special settings or anything I need to do with imgburn?

Use: Write image file to disc
Select ISO file as source.
