Full Version: Advanced INF Install
The CD Forum > Bart's PE Builder > Reatogo
PyrK
I'm using Reatogo for my bootCD and after it finishes loading everything on the Reatogo Logon Screen (Where it starts DHCP service, lmhosts service, xpe processing, etc.) it says the last message "creating Desktop Shortcuts" then gets away from the splash screen, the background goes to the default blue, and an error message pops up:
"Advanced INF Install
(red X) Unexpected Error. Could not load resources."

I can press OK and it seems to continue to boot just fine; however, if I do not hit OK fast enough it goes to a blue screen.

I'm wondering how I could find out what Advanced INF Install is erroring out.... so i can fix / disable it. I made another thread but have gotten 0 responses :-\

Make your post in the reatogo section since you are talking about reatogo.

Where are the Mod's? Can someone move this?

Not even a hint or a clue :'(

oh well....

Just a thought that i'm goign to test out the next few days... is it possibly related to my host WinXP image? The error happens before it gets to the first logon configuration settings.... (where it has a dialogue box in the top left saying the settings it's configuring for first logon)....

Do you use nlite?

Use default windows source files.
Don't change windows source files.

That's what happens when you do multiple posts for the same problem. It wastes peoples time.

Sorry about the multi-post. I just didn't get any help on the Reatogo forum so i tried posting on the troubleshooting forum thinking it may apply to there better. Had i been able to simply move it I would have, rather then making a new post.

Thanks for the tip, I'm getting my fresh install setup now, I'll let you know if i still have a problem. Very much appreciated.

If you make a post and nobody has replied after a few days just add a reply to your topic saying Anybody? or Bump etc. There are not many people using ReaToGo these days - the author of the program has not been seen for a long time. I think they either switched to UBCD4Win or Winbuilder.

@Paraglider
Thanks for the info. I'll check out winbuilder + I'll take your advice next time I post.

@cdob
it worked.

Thanks.
