ok, i have xp-pro-sp2 on my pc, i have xp-pro-sp2 on my laptop, i have a wirless network using wpa-psk, i can access the laptop files from the pc fine but when i try to use my laptop to access the pc i get a error message :\\ you do not have permission to access files on "blackbox", any suggestions? thx

From the address bar on file explorer type something like
\\10.0.0.1\c$
It should display the contents of your C drive. Also recommend disable the Firewall to ensure it isn't blocking outside connections or at the very least ensure that you share a folder on your desktop machine.
