We have just installed a new IBM blade center using HS21 blade servers. I have am using WDS for image deployment and am having problems getting WINPE 2.0 to see the network or local storage. I have previously just installed the raid drivers for either vista or 2008. The IBM website does not list drivers for either of these options. There is an install cd for the raid controller but it does not mention support for either vista or 2008.

I notice the serverguide CD that comes with the bladecenter actually uses Winpe to boot from so I know it must be possible.

Has anybody else gone through this.

Maybe it helps if you look on the microsoft documentation for PEIMG to see how drivers can be integrated or use a script/program like the one provided by Markus8 to create a VistaPE (windows PE 2.x) with the drivers you want.

This was also mentioned before on 911CD, use the search tool to find more relevant topics on this matter and post back if you get any doubts regarding how to use them.

I figured it out I was using the wrong driver. I used the netextreme II ris driver and it worked great.
