then I tried charge it by connected it to my Laptop Fujitsu C series - windows XP for the first timeThe USB icon device didnt show up. i tried put sd card at cybook, but it doesnt show up either on my laptop. But Show up in my Cybook.I unplugged it again and tried every single USB port on my laptop there 3 USB port, still not work. My laptop doesnt even recognize that the Cybook is therei also tried pressing the reset button on the back of the Cybook. And it still have same problem. The USB icon doesnt show up.I tried charge again it became less, 40 now.

The device looks pretty cool and has some use.

Have you tried a different computer?
-Bad caps on a motherboard will do this sometimes and no work with speciffic usb devices like ipods or anything else that uses a content management system to determine if the file has been paid for.

Does the wall outlet usb charger work to charge your cybook?
If its brand new and will not charge, send it back and get another one.

I know a few people that would really like something like this.
