Well, since we can't pinpoint what could be going wrong - let's start from the beginning.

- Get a trusted Windows Source, Windows 2003 R2 trial is good - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003...llinstruct.mspx
- Copy WinBuilder.exe to a new folder and download the projects files for LiveXP from the Download Center (don't change any of the selected files by default, just click download)
- Start WinBuilder.exe and select the path to your Windows 2003 source files.
- See the results.

---------------------

Don't change any of the scripts settings

This is important to ensure that you're not selecting a configuration that causes the project to fail.

---------------------------

Last but not least if all above fails, run WinBuilder inside a PC emulator like Virtual Box.

There have been some reports where the project wouldn't work due to some interference from Virus/Antivirus, etc, etc, etc - so running from a PC emulator ensures that you're running the project from a clean environment.

New:
BartPE popups 1 errors message: avcaudio.sys not found
WB 3 errors reporting:
CopyExpand - Failed to expand file: [T:\i386\msvbvm50.dll] to: [D:\WinBuilder\BartPE\i386\system32]
Expand - Failed to expand file: [T:\i386\NETRTSNT.IN_] to: [D:\WinBuilder\BartPE\i386\inf]
Expand - Failed to expand file: [T:\i386\NETRTPNT.IN_] to: [D:\WinBuilder\BartPE\i386\inf]

T: is Alcohol120% drive mounted "Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Datacenter Edition VOL SP2 X86 Eng"

really NETRTSNT.IN_ NETRTPNT.IN_ does not exist in the distro!
msvbvm50.dll - maybe MSVBVM60.DL_ ?

the NETRTSNT.IN_ NETRTPNT.IN_ does not exist in the WIN32-XP-SP2-X86-VOL-ENG and Win32 Server 2003 the same!

Well, both basic libs - MSVBVM50.DL_ MSVBVM60.DL_ presents into XP distro! smile.gif

Again error as first post! 0_o
Problem: File \I386\WINPE.IMG could not be loaded. The error code is 16

Is it CDIMAGE 2.47 (10/12/2000 TM) correct writer?
Maybe BCDW has ASCII / UNICODE problem?

I recommended using 2003 R2 Enterprise because it was tested with a lot of projects. Would it make sense to bulk enterprise files for a datacenter orientated version?

Not now, after.. rolleyes.gif

First you should test LiveXP as I mentioned. It's a failsafe check to ensure that you're using a stable project directly from the download center without changing anything. Also remember that bartPEcore hasn't been updated for a long while.

Only then you should continue with Thunn's project once you done both tests with the source and another project.

Please be patient and try as recommended otherwise it will remain difficult to pinpoint the possible reasons besides the obvious missing files from a datacenter OS and I'll be unable to help.

Ok! I will try to start LiveXP. Good!

Pico is Great!
1. Datacenter (SP2) 2. XP (SP2)

Good project!

-----------------
Huh! BartPE Core really started on real machine! And not work with Virtualbox.
...But i have somes missing files in real booting and down to crash ))
Hm... it's strange - WINPE.IMG -based projects boots only as hardware machine.
