Is there a way to extract the required boot files from the HDD-installed program?
I have two machines running on xp pro; one is a P3 and the other is a P4. While attempting to slipstream and burn a bootable xp pro cd for the P4, I did not get the system files to the cd that are required for the boot. The original bootable was somehow damaged, and I was able to copy everything from the cd except the system files. The newly burned xp pro sp2 disc does not boot properly.
Thank you.....
