Are we tallking about second partition of a CD? w00t.gif

In any case, it is much more convenient to use an image and grub4dos or syslinux/memdisk for adding a DOS/FREEDOS.

However:

Hello again,

Man you are vague see if tis helps I assume you want to boot to a DOS partition
to lunch a ghost image or something !!!!

===================
you are better off with a boot manager
http://tinyurl.com/bootmanagerdisk

this IBM boot manager looks for partition called IBM_SERVICE
when you press F10 at boot up
explore floppy and have good look at it.
=======================
......................................
important information
the lable of the recovery partitin must be IBM_SERVICE
as the boot manager prog looks for a partition of that name if not exist error will result.
the recovery partition MUST be FAT32 and HIDDEN and PRIMARY.
......................
to make partition bootable put win98 boot disk and on command line type:

SYS C:

where C: is the recovery partition as DOS can not see NTFS partition
