I have a Windows Vista 64-bit system with a Blu-Ray DVD optical disk. I'm trying to creat a bootable CD. I was able to get all the way to the point where the image is burned to the CD (I used a CD-R, which the disk is capable of wrinting). The burn operation started and failed. The following is a portion of the log file from the cmd session window and starts with the burn operation:

Does anyone have any idea why the burn operation failed?

I then tried to burn the image file \bcd\cds\cdromsi\cdrom.img directly using Active@ ISO Burner. The operation appeared to complete without any error, but there was no image on the CD.

I then wanted to try to burn the ISO image file bcd.iso, but unfortunately, as can be seen from the above log file, the ISO image was deleted when the burn operation failed.

Can anyone help?

First thing to try would be to create the .iso (BTW of WHAT?) normally (with mkisofs if it's a boot disc), then try using IMGBURN:
http://www.imgburn.com/

It is reported both blu-ray and x64 compatible:

Thanks for the quick reply. Actually, at the point where the the script asked to insert media I copied the bcd.iso file to a safe area and I was able to burn the ISO file to a CD-R using Active@ ISO Burn. The resulting disk is bootable. Now I have to figure out how to use it. It's been a long time since I've done anything like this and I don't remember how I get to drives other than R. For example, how do I explore the C drive? R:\dir c: yields an invalid drive specification.
