How does one add sp3 when creating a windows live cd?

You can slipstream sp3 into your xp source, then build PE from that.

if do not want to use programs such as
nLite or similar, as can update Xp manually?

The above given links ARE already for MANUALLY slipstreaming a Service Pack, WITHOUT the use of nlite "or similar"! w00t.gif
