Full Version: Windows PE and shared network folder

HI

I have a computer with Vista Ultimate SP2 with a shared network folder protected by Login (Username and Password).

With a CD of Windows PE, inserted in an another computer on the LAN, I would succeed, with a single command, to access the shared network folder placed on another computer.

So how do I do this?

THANKS

You missed this one wink.gif:

...and you don't speak Italian...whistling.gif

I guess it's of NO use to try good manners and giving advice to Mr. Balubeto:

Balubeto, if you read this post, plese do read this (which you may have missed):

And reply to it, I guess we are all open to alternate solutions but if you insist on what I defined "polluting" search engines, I foresee we will feel authorized to take measures against your behaviour, definitely on boot-land, and probably on 911CD, at least.

That's an impressive video bengt. I wonder how much Xrumer costs.

It is possible Balubeto Balubeto is using some kind of home made script to post to multiple forums since he posts in at least two know languages. I think he's looking at the web as being a single ubiquitous host of technical sites rather than forming alliances with one or more of the sites that make up the web. He's seeking an answer and posts to many technical sites and doesn't care who supplies the answer so long as he gets an answer. Maybe a new approach to using the web.

It's also possible there is a website that automatically distributes a user's technical questions to multiple sites and accumulates the answers for them that he is using.

Then, in a LAN without a domain, should I write:

net use Letter:\\Server\Shared-Directory password-user /user:\\Server\Username

Instead, in a LAN with domain, should I write:

net use Letter:\\Server\Shared-Directory password-user /user:Domain-name\Username

Right?
