Hi,
I know how to install Windows XP from BartPE using this command "D:\i386\winnt32.exe /syspart:C: /tempdrive:C: /makelocalsource", but my question is how Can I change the default I386 folder? I've tried modifying TXTSETUP.SIF but with no success. The setup always look for files in "USBDRIVE"\i386.

I am not sure to have understood what you are reproting/want to do. unsure.gif

If the scope is to install a XP from a USB device, read here:
http://www.msfn.org/board/install-xp-usb-f157.html

several different methods, including howto's to install from a booted PE, this one:
Install XP from USB AFTER Booting with PE from HDD or USB, Install from USB without Booting from USB using U_XP_SET

My problem was this:

first I like to have the entire Windows XP on my USB key, and also I like to partition in bartpe and then install XP from bartpe using the command that I wrote.

But the problem is that Winnt32.exe always look for files in i386 folder, so it seemed to me that having two Windows XP setup sources(ITA and ENG) was impossible.

The solution is stupid just create another folder, instead of renaming i386 folder.

For instance having x:\winxp\i386 works, so you can create x:\winxpita\i386 and x:\winxpeng\i386 without stress.

A bit late, but a few ideas- try experimenting with these switches:

winnt32.exe /h :
QUOTE
/m:folder_name

Specifies that Setup copies replacement files from an alternate location. Instructs Setup to look in the alternate location first, and if files are present, to use them instead of the files from the default location.

/s:sourcepath

Specifies the source location of the Windows XP files. To simultaneously copy files from multiple servers, type the /s:sourcepath option multiple times (up to a maximum of eight). If you type the option multiple times, the first server specified must be available, or Setup will fail.

All of first you have the following available to you:
1. An unmodified, legal copy of Windows XP Home or XP Professional.
2. USB memory stick (2 GB /1 GB)
3. A motherboard that is capable of booting from a USB drive.
Then for installing process you just go through pctipsbox.com.This site provides you the information how to install windows XP from usb key.

Mentioned side refers to a old outdated USB_Prep8.
However there is no credits, this is a very bad behaviour.
