Bartpe
windows 2003 ent as source
build / boot works fine.

machine boots and runs ghost successfully

Then when running ghdplyaw32 /target=1.1: /ddb=h:\ (adding /eval shows almost same error)

I get this:

A cancel has been requested.

Missing drivers detected:

Device type : Storage Device
PCI ID : IDE\CdRomLITEON_CD-ROM_LTN486S___________________YUS6____
Description : Device Description Unavailable

The cdrom drive works fine, I can put a cd in and read it. If I remove the cdrom drive, ghdplyaw32 complete successfully. This is happening on 2 different models of desktops.

What am I missing here, this should not be giving me this much trouble. I have added pretty much every nic/scsi driver and do not have a problem with them. Why would it get stuck on a cdrom of all things?

Can you write to the CD drive using other sw such as ExpressBurn?

Oh, I thought you were running ghdplyaw32 from BartPE and that is why I was wondering if you could run a different CD writer app from BartPE to see if it had a problem writing to a CD also.
