I have done a lot of searching on the web and I believe this very popular program has never ever been packaged as a BartPE plugin.
The Intel Matrix Storage Console/Manager (IMSC) is free and basically allows its end users to create/modify/delete RAIDs on ICH*R Intel chipsets.
It is really a perfect program to be included in a BartPE environment, especially when coupled with some partition management tools.

I am new to packaging programs and am seeking some advice.
To begin with, IMSC is free and available from this link, however if you do not have an ICH*R Intel chipset then it will not install for you, sorry.
Also, IMSC has a user interface (a GUI and is not just a command line tool) and two background services to monitor the hard drives’ SMART statuses.
I have found that IMSC’s program files can be used in a BartPE environment to bring up the GUI and successfully perform desired tasks (create/modify/delete RAID volumes).

A little background: my primary RAID consists of two SSD drives that need to be “flashed” every couple of days or so because I use them a lot, and this is the reason why I am so into this plugin that apparently nobody else is…
I expect in a few years with the widespread adoption of SSDs this plugin will be incredibly useful for many many BartPE users out there.

The only problem with the IMSC in the BartPE environment, is that after any task is completed IMSC’s window will disappear; and it is really annoying and time consuming to keep opening the program after any modification is made to the RAID volumes.
I suspect that the background services (IAANTmon.exe & IAAnotif.exe) prevents this from happening in the Windoze environment maybe…or maybe not.

Anyway, if anybody has any experience with this program or thoughts on the matter it would be greatly appreciated!
I am planning on creating an actual plugin (or rather plugin creation guide) for others once this minor obstacle is subdued.
