I have been using XPE 1.0.7 for over a year now with no issues, however all of a sudden XPE hangs during the "Detecting PNP Devices" stage during startup. I have no idea why this started all of a sudden. Does anyone know of anything I can try to resolve this?

I'd suggest rebuilding the BartPE system. If the hardware has changed updating a driver pack might be in order first.
