O.K. I’m putting together a recovery CD with win 7 and win pe, I’ve figured out the nu2menu .xml and have made the first bootable disk with gui interface, now I just have to clean it up. The one tool I really want to add is the offline nt pass crack but cant figure out how to launch it. I’ve downloaded the latest one that works on vista and win7 and have made the cd, but I’m guessing just pointing to the .exe is not going to cut it. Can anyone give me some guidance?

Thanks in advance.

hello,

use this one
http://cdslow.webhost.ru/en/ntpwedit/
it is very reliable and works without plugin with win7 PE or Vista PE
mount wim using imagex from WAIK and drop (ntpwedit.exe 125 KB ) file into \mount\windows\system32 folder

then the entry in Bart menu is same as for notepad
here is good reference:

Thank you sir, where do i get the ntpwedit.exe at?

Ive read that thread more than once and customized the .bats for my systems, your use of the win7 backup was genious, i like using it because it has all the latest SATA drivers to see the hard drive. Can i copy explorer into the mounted system32 folder so i can get to the file tree? A43 cant seem to see the super hidden files in vista and win 7 where the true profiles are (under documents and setings) you know the folder that doesnt exsist anymore.

by the way you do great work, i've learned a tone from what you have writen here, amazing stuff!

UBCD4Win got few file managers that work without plugin in windows7 pe
here is a list
-Explorers
a43 2.45 File management
Agent Ransack 1.73 File search
freeCommander 2007.10a File management
Space Monger 1.4 Graphical disk usage viewer tool.
Tiny Hexer 1.6.0.2 Hex editor
WinDir Stat 1.1 Disk usage statistics viewer and cleanup tool
xplorer2 Lite 1.3.0.2 EXCELLENT File management tool!!

their download is big so if you see a file manager

download it on its own save bandwith and ISP complaining
although their CD/DVD is very powerful and got WIFI ability.
