Hi all.

I was wondering if there was any way to create a XP SP3 slipstreamed disc from an already installed copy of XP Pro w/SP2?

I've lost my original discs, but I still have the key. I googled the issue, but all I found were sites that said it might be possible with an OEM install.

The thing is that I have a retail version... If there is a way, could someone point me towards the right direction, or link?

Hello,
This will show you how to create a bootable Windows XP Home Edition or Professional installation/setup CD-Rom.if you got i386 folder on a computer you can use SP2 or SP3 instead of Sp1

I did it 4 years ago with Sp2 and it worked try SP3 do not loose any thing .

PS
before you reinstall windows XP Find 2 files
1 wpa.bak
2 wpa.dbl
use search copy them to a CD-R

install widows press F8
choose minimal safe mode.
replace wpa files in system32 folder.
with those copied on cd

this saves you reactivating XP .
although if you got product key use that.
or use a key finder to record the key before you wipe the HDD
