I need to add updated Intel 82577LC Gig Network. I do not want to run thru the Bart Builder and the BartPE is on a flash drive.

Questions...

1) Do I need Windows drivers or DOS

2) What files do I need to add the Flash


In the past I was able to add NICs to the Flash by adding files directly to the Flash. I'm having probblems with these Intel NIC and I may be missing something someware.

Are you editing the driver's inf file? See the link in my sig for tips of what to change. InfCacheBuild does it when using PEBuilder but you don't have that option.

Yes I did ask about what kind of drivers since I spent too much time on making this work I figure I must be missing something basic. Can't hurt to ask. Well it turns out the Intel 82577LM driver is not PE friendly. See this post in DriverPacks.net "http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=4591"
