I am trying to create a Bart PE image that will work on both comptuers that have AHCI and comptuers that are Legacy IDE. The person prior to me made an image that did this, but deleted all of his work. When I try boot a Bart PE image that has iastor, the computer halts at a blue screen. Does anyone know how to make an image that works with both??

Which iastor.sys version do you use?
There is unresolved 0x7e error at v9 and IDE mode.

I found a thread about 9.6 a little after I posted this. I was using 9.6, I downgraded to 8.9 and I haven't had this issue. My new Bart image with 8.9 works on workstations with and without AHCI now. Has Intel acknowledged this issue at all?

Does anybody know if Intel will fix this issue in future releases or does it work as designed?

At the moment I use 2 different BartPE builds, one for VMware & IDE-Systems and one for the SATA-Systems.
It's the same with the Windows XP Unattended.txt File: With Intel RST 9.6 drivers I need two different versions because the driver doesn't work with VMware & IDE.
