UBCD4Windows has the XP Disk Index/Compress (Advanced Attributes) functionality but it seems BartPE does not.
Is or could there be some way to enable/disable Disk Compression with a BPE build?

I expect Sherpya's XPE plugin would fix that for you.

Is there any other way?

I have BartPE autoruns that I use on non-XPE BPE builds.
Do BPE autoruns run properly under an XPE build?

After test driving 2 test builds (on a USB stick - not burned CDRWs ... thanks to Fuwi)
I am almost finished with "editing" XPE reg/inf entries ...
I have some questions that might benefit others if posted ...
but ...

I have read that it is intended that builders use EITHER xpe-defaults.inf or z-xpe-customizations.inf?
I have formatted/synchronized defaults to be the same for all three of my XP laptops
while I will edit custom for differences between laptops.
Notepad2 is a nice "lightweigt" portable customizable (editable ini file) complement to Notepad++
I replace the XP Notepad.exe in sys32 with Notepad2.exe as Notepad.exe
and rename XP Notepad.exe to PadNote.exe ...
Could be a good PE plugin ...

VNC Neighborhood has some XPE reg entries in its inf file,
but XPE is giving me error messages at bootup;
so I will rem out those two XPE reg entries ...

XPE-MMC.inf has the following entries
It says "Required" but the entries are rem'd out ...
Should I leave them rem'd out or not?
