Problem is that you need a valid source.
You can
try rebuilding a source from the files you have and the integration of a Service pack.
Here you can find some instructions on how to do this:

Thank you jaclaz.
I tried to slipstream but I had problems. I typed this command:
D:\Lavoro\UT\BartPE\WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe /integrate:d:\lavoro\ut\bartpe\
where in D:\ ... \bartpe there is a copy of i386 directory and the file WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe.
The extraction create a directory c:\xxxxxx…xxxxx (in C: not in D: as I wanted) and then an error occurs:
“Failed to copy some or all of the files necessary for integrated install. Please check that: a) no network or copy errors occurred during the integration process;

the format of the destination directory is correct. The files to be integrated must reside in an i386 and/or ia64 or nec98 directory (i.e. for an i386 shared, if you typed “update /s:c:\cdshare”, the files must be in the c:\cdshare\i386 directory).”
I tried also with new directories in C:, new command (i.e. “C:\WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ITA.exe" -s:"C:\")
… but … same thing.
I think I abandoned and I’ll try to solve with other live CD (UBCD, Kaspersky rescue disc, Avira Antivir rescue system, ubuntu live CD, …).
Thanks again.
