The sharing of proprietary software is not allowed. You get sued, we get sued. Lose/lose

Try using UBCD4Win, it is a pre-configured bootable cd based on BartPE that contains a lot of software utilities. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it has AVG, and other virus/malware scanners as well, such as Spybot, Avast, SuperAntiSpyware,etc...
Give it a shot.

UBCD4Win had to drop the AVG plugin after a program update broke the plugin and a work around for the changes was unable to be found.

Ok, my bad. Last time I used UBCD4Win it still had AVG.

I'm sorry blushing.gif UBCD4Win no longer supports AVG. Since you're using BartPE for a college project, you could probably substitute AVG for another virus/malware scanner that is supported by UBCD4Win. I'm sure it will serve you just as well for illustrating purposes.

I think the OP is looking for someone to do his homework. happy71.gif

UBCD4WIN is neither a plugin nor a full bootable CD it is a preconfigured highly functional app that will create a full bootable CD. All you need to provide is a valid input Windows source CD and have an Internet connection for updates.

not looking for someone to do it, and im very familiar with both. i just spoke with my teacher and im going to use the plugins from UBCD with the PEBuilder, since he wants it to look like bartPE instead. tho i may just edit the xml files

Note.... to avoid confusion on what you are refering too..

UBCD - is a DOS based boot CD with utils to repair / recover computers

UBCD4Win - is a Windows based boot CD to also repair / recover computers and also can include UBCD with it...

So when talking about UBCD4Win please don't call it UBCD since that is another project

cool to hear BartPE is being taught in school. what kind of course is it?

i'd suggest forgetting about those GUI scanners like AVG. getting them to work and keeping them updated is brutal.

what i do instead is use a generic BartPE. i stuff a bunch of command line scanners in there - using the CUSTOM (include files/folder from this directory) function in PEBuilder.

AVIRA, SOPHOS, EMSI and McAfee all have CMD line scanners that work great for me in a BartPE CMD enviroment.
much easier to update, most of them have a update command line utility in them.

(I believe AVG and Kapersky have CMD line scanners, but they also have rescue CD's which work faster and better than BartPE so i use them instead if needed. dr webb live cd is very good too.)

IMO the EMSI CMD scanner is currently the best. it has cleaned stuff i've seen other pass over.
