Anyone still has the Netbeui plugin for Bart PE? It seems it existed once but hard to find now. Any help in this regard will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think anything needs to be downloaded, just copy & paste the updated inf file into a plugin folder.

Actually you can rebuild one allright.
The actual .inf is in this post:

The needed file should be available here unsure.gif:

The others are in the XP source:

jaclaz,

Look at Frank1's first post last paragraph:

''I placed the plugin under the realtogo\plugins\NetBeui\files directory with the files autorun1netbeui.cmd and yesno.exe in the realtogo\plugins\NetBeui directory.
Of course I have the nbf.sys, netnbf.inf, snetcfg_wxp.exe and penetbeui.htm in the files directory.

Can anyone please help?
Frank1 ''

He is describing what is in the plugin. I have the other files but the .cmd file and yesno.exe files, what is in those files?
Those files are making the netbeui work.

Thanks again.

The command file won't be much different from these ones:
http://www.911cd.net/forums/index.php?show...c=1964&st=3
basically running snetcfg to install NetBeui.
The general idea is:
http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=1041
http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=16113
The yesno.exe is/was a way to have a confirmation Yes/No in a batch, most probably it was used to optional load NetBEUI if user answered "yes".

You are basically doing BartPE archeology ninja.gif , you will need to dirty a bit your hands digging ... wink.gif

You might want to study
NWDSKPE
and
PENETCFG
and see if you can add NetBEUI to either of them. hmm.gif

Let's wait a few days and see if someone can get the original plug-in from some old CD/backup. unsure.gif

Awesome!!
Jaclaz, Thank you so much for giving so much time to a newbie sleeping.gif

guess you are absolutely right, this is 'Bart PE Archeology' and I have to keep digging happy71.gifhappy71.gifsweatingbullets.gif

all of your analysis is correct and I have to keep working at it.
I have tried the Penetcfg and NewdskPE plugin and actually it claims to enable Netbeui and provides the info to put two Netbeui files in the plugin
but I was not able to connect. Perhaps it is more for a Netware Client scenario than my situation, where I just want to connect to a Netbeui Server -share- where ghost images rside and instead of using the DOS bootdisk and PXE boot -working fine- , I need to use sometime the WinPE with Ghost32, which is way faster than DOS Boot disk.

and I loved it when you said:
'Let's wait a few days and see if someone can get the original plug-in from some old CD/backup. '

Thanks for all your help.
