Strangely enough dubbio.gif, PEbuilder builds a PE and NOT a DOS.
A PE won't use a DOS driver.

Try explaining what is your goal (as opposed to the way you think it should be reached) and we may be able to try and help you. smile.gif

hello again,

your computer runs windows 7 professional to make a PE bootable CD which has wired networking capabilities do the following:

To make a bootable windows 7 CD
go to system and security >Back up and restore
in back up and restore dialog box from the left side choose:
create a system recovery disc
follow the on screen instructions
put an empty CD-R in the drive showing .
in 5 minutes you got a PE bootable windows7 disc which also has system restore facility
or simply type :
recdisc.exe
on the command line.
or down load it from here :

http://neosmart.net/blog/2009/windows-7-system-repair-discs/

it is 143 GB iso
use imgburn to burn iso to a CD-R

NOTE:correction
choose command prompt option
at the prompt type:
startnet
and enter
this gives you wired networking.
then type :
IPCONFIG
and see if you see detail of your wired network.

ps
I have an old computer with XP and 7 on different partitions .
the repair (WIN7 PE)CD which I got from above was not booting .
so I copied and pasted the content of CD to an empty ISO folder in WAIK
and made a fresh ISO
and that booted OK.
just thought i mention that !!
I am not too happy about the way Win 7 handles drivers every thing has to be done
through windows update .
it is difficult to force a driver say from vista driverstore on to windows 7

Win 7 PE is not as reliable booting as Reatogo XPE boot CD into different computers.!!
