What is the content of the .iso? is it a movie or what?

If it is a movie you can play it with VLC Media Player.

I had different Problems with DaemonTools within BartPE. Now i use: UltraISO

Also it is Imdisk plugin for mounting ISOs.

I do not know anything about mounting ISOs of protected CD games, but I believe that Daemons tools is the only way.
