I have been looking for a simple, portable rtf editor with (fully functional) MDI to be a PE plugin.
The search has been much harder than it would seem.
I decided to look @ Atlantis again.

There is Nova (a free limited feature version) and the 30-day full featured trial.
The 30-day trial uses ini file settings when installed to /run from a USB stick - which is really nice under a PE boot.
Atlantis is almost a standalone exe with fully functional MDI.
While under a PE boot I determined that the 30-day trial will ALWAYS run under a PE boot
(unless the PE boot has been open for 36 continuous days ...)

Oh yeah, while under a PE boot I also found the reg key that implements/controls the 30-day time limit ...
