Does anyone know where I can find the website for the Nod32 On-Demand single file scanner? I know there was a website out there that kept a running update for this.

Thanks.

You mean this one?
http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/

If you go there with Opera, it will download the installer.

That's what I was going to suggest also.

Actually, no. Not that one. That one's online or a free trial. The one I'm looking for a stand-alone product, I have it integrated with my bart-pe disc and running in bart-pe. A friend used to do av updates and he had a link, but I don't know what is anymore and he's not doing updates anymore.

Any other ideas???

No, not "kosher" ones.

I don't know what you mean by "kosher" ones...but this was a legit version of Nod32, it's a stand-alone scanner, single file, kept up to date with a current install of the full version of Esset Antivirus. Thing is, I've even tried the full version install of Esset and it's not there, even though their own knowledgebase says it should be.

There was a link a while ago that linked to a page where this was being updated regularly. Esset even said that they didn't care if the stand-alone scanner was distributed, since it wasn't a licensed product. I've seen some plugins for it and even found plugins designed to update it once it's part of bart, but none of the links work anymore. The last person who was able to do this was PlaNed.

Any ideas would be helpful.

The site was probably this one unsure.gif:
http://finalbuilds.com/nod32.htm

(I am posting it since the link now points to the "regular" http://www.eset.com/home/products/antivirus page)

The "release" was daily or something like it and was actually available here:
ftp://ftp.isu.edu.tw/pub/Windows/Edskes/n/
(again I am posting this since it is now empty)

I doubt it was authorized/OK, though. dubbio.gif
