I continue to work on my BartPE.
Recall that for the creation of this I am using PE Builder v3.1.10a. My project - XPE by Sherpya.
There are a few icons in the Quick Launch bar on the disk I created. I would like to see the Quick Launch toolbar has remained clean.

With the help of available inf-files I was able to remove the Quick Launch bar, some icons, such as "Total Commander".
But I can not find what places in the Quick Launch toolbar icons, such as "Internet Explorer" and "Minimize all windows."

Or this may be necessary to enter the command to register? But I do not know how to do it.

Please help me clean up the Quick Launch toolbar!

I made snapshots of the registry and compared them.
I got the idea to put the registry entries in the inf-files of the builder.
For this I used the files z_xpe-custom.inf and xpe-defaults.inf of xpe-1.0.7 plugin.
I have created in these files [AddReg] section and wrote it required registry keys.
Creating a disc was without any errors, but I did not get the necessary result.
Perhaps in this way is not possible to make entries in the registry? Or there is another bug?

Without seeing what your .inf looks like it's impossible to see what needs to be done.

If you don't like the effects of the XPE plugin why use it? You can have a Task Bar without using XPE. I use the GeoShell plugin for my Task Bar.

I can not give you a reasonable answer about why I use XPE.
I do not remember for what reason someone told me to use this plugin for realization my requirements.
Now I'm very used to it! And I'm afraid to leave it already.

If you simply want to hide the Quick Launch tool bar, use this registry tweak. Note that it will only work if you use Windows XP as source for your bartpe build.
