Is there a PE Builder plug-in available to make it possible to print from the bootable Windows environment? If not, does anyone have the knowledge and motivation to make one? I realize there are many, many brands of printers out there, each requiring their own drivers, but is there a way to incorporate a copy of ones Windows XP driver database into PE Builder?

Printing capabilities would be very useful in the following situations:

* It's night time, and you need to print out something for school or work, but you've discovered that Windows has crashed. You don't have time to figure out how to get your system working at this moment. You'd like to boot the CD made by PE Builder, run Open Office or, better yet, Microsoft Word (if a plug-in is available for it), then print your document and call it a night.

* You want to print out some directory listings, error logs, internet connection info text files, etc. while troubleshooting a system from CD-bootable Windows XP.

* Etc., etc., etc.

Please let me know if there is some way of getting a printer working in Bart's WinPE.

By the way, I do know it's possible to boot up Knoppix and print from it. However, Knoppix appears to be incompatible with most computers I've tried it on. My point, however, is that if Knoppix can have a database of drivers for all current printers on its bootable CD, I'm sure there's a way to do it with PE Builder. Just wish I had the knowledge to do it my self. Can anyone out there help all us in this area? Thanks!
