someone posted a good idea about a place where to publish xp raid and network drivers like Bart modboot nic drivers...

What do you think about this idea...It is worth also to ask Bart or DoctorXP how to realize that!

I think that all members of this board will be glad about this improvement.

new plugin for PowerQuest DriveImage 2002.
this plugin use a vb-program for copying files to ramdisk
and set the working directory.
after using this program it's deletes the drive-image files in ramdisk.

if you think that is a good idea, i will make the program startdriveimage.exe
universal to use for other plugins.

yesterday i need to make a image from a customer computer.
(Motherboard EPOX-8KHAI with VIA Serial ATA RAID Controller(VT8237)
because Bartpe could not found the harddisks, i made a plugin for this.
know it was possible to make a image with my driveimage 2002-Plugin.

it is no problem to make the program.
but everyone who is making a plugin that use the ramdisk
has do use my program!
i think we have do modify every plugin using the ramdrive
to clear it after closing !!!

I used your driveimage 2002 plugin. It works fine.
But can you also copy the Image Explorer (PqIExp32.exe) to RAM-Disk. Then can start it directly from the Drive Image program.

the Error I got is : Error: 100020- The source file does not exist........
Then if I klick OK, drive image startet and if I klick Image Explore, no reagiert.

sorry, i have new version only testet under XPE-Plugin!
i have upload version 1.3 and testet this with only bartpe.
try it again.
are you sure PqIExp32.exe is in the DriveImage directory?

Anyway I use just normal BartPE and XPE 0.99 from Sherpya.

nice to hear that it is now working for you.
the problem was that the file SHFOLDER.DLL was not present
in normal BartPe. it was now copy by my plugin.

i have upload my plugin for Norton Prescan to my Homepage.
if you dont use the german version 10.0.0.109 you have to made changes
to the Prescan.pat files.
Did that work for you ?

How do you want to make Office 2003 running if you do not even know how your BartPE starts?
I don't know nothing about your build - maybe you use autorun, maybe you use runonceEX-entries, maybe you use the HULI-DULI-BULI-shell and have to add custom commands into HULI-DULI-BULI-startup-manager.ini ...
