First off, thanks Bart for the wicked PE Builder, I just foudn out abt this last week, and to say the least..im already addicted to it.

I've actually had pretty good luck with it so far, barring some probs (refresh rate, some of my apps not registering).

Anyhow the way i had been starting the network work prior to today was using this method:

1. enabling network support
2. adding my relevant drivers (Broadcom Gigabit)
3. Booting into PE, running Penetcfg (v 2.0)
4. Tells me net isnt running and if it shoudl start it, say yes
5. config IP, workgroup, etc
6. Net works

I tried to use the network autostart plugin today that came with BartPE (which uses gnetcfg) and I got some weird probs. A CMD window popped up asked me what kind of network i wanted to config (DHCP, manual, something from b or c). I picked manual, did some things, then told me it wasnt able to load the network driver. I then just went back and did the steps I had been doing before, then voila it worked. Am I doing something wrong with the autostart plugin?

Any1 have any recommendations abt the prefered way to go about starting up network? Gnetcfg or Penetcfg? Im new to this, so any suggestions from people who have been doing this for awhile would be great.

Thanks in advance
