hi together.

i have some problems with my modboot-cd. the cd works fine and i can boot with it and can make a network connection to a share.
but when i copy ghost.exe in the specified folder after i burn the cd, i cant' find ghost.exe on the cd. also there is no menu for ghost.
and how can i have my own network .cab files automaticly for searching the specified nic on my pc. i copy also the .cab files in the /cabs/drivers/ndis but after boot i take the choice for manualy set the nic, i can't see my .cab devices.

sorry, i hope you understand my problems

By no means, am I an expert, but the one thing I accomplished with success was manually building the modboot network disk. I was building it for ghosting purposes. This is the approach I took.
Start Nero and choose Boot Disk as the project type
Point to the image.img as the boot image to work from
After doing this, I would click "create new" and then I was able to just drag any files I want to the CD, like when creating a regular data CD.

The only problem with this method, is that the Ghost.exe file was on the regular part of the CD, which would require your network boot image to have CD support. Bart's network disk doesn't come with CD support, which is why he made the CD disk. Well, I just made slight modifications to mine to force the CD rom drivers to load at the same time it was loading all the network stuff. That way, when it was done, I could switch from the Ram drive to the CDDrive and run the Ghost.exe file.

Did I make any sense at all? Let me know if I need to clarify.

Ok, as another solution you can use Norton Ghost to create your boot CD directly.

Use the "-bootcd" option while starting Ghost, and it will prompt you if you want to create a bootable CD, click on Yes and the created CD will be bootable.
