Full Version: Password Protect Bootdisk?

Hi, I am kind of a newb to this. I have customized a bootscripter for my own version of UBCD, though I havent converted it to cd-shell yet, I am going to soon. I was wondering if there is a good method to password protect a boot disk so you can't run the disc if you don't know the password? Possibly with a way to limit number of tries and someway to make it slightly harder to get the password than just to look at the .ini and see the variable right away? I don't know if I am asking too much of cd-shell for these functions or not?
Thanks.

Search the forum for this. There are many thread to password protect and hide the cdshell dir so no look at the .ini possible.
