I have made extensive use of the search function in this forum, and have yet to find a solution to my issue. I have built a BART PE disk using pebuilder 3.0.33 and added in a few of the plugins we would like to use in my corporate environment. We also need to support multiple types of network cards, including Broadcomm, 3com, and Intel. So far I have been able to get all of the NICs to work except the Intel 1000 MT. This forum is filled with fixes to get this card working, but in my case none have worked for me. I have used both Intel and Dell supplied drivers in my testing. With all that said, everytime I test a changed build of the disk I get the following error when BARTPE: Starting Network Support does its thing:
UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices <> failed
System error code: 0x5, Access is denied.
At this point I doubt it is the NIC drivers at fault. I have been banging my head against this problem long enough that I need an objective source to point me in the right direction. Any help you all can provide would be greatly appreciated.
